On Russia's contribution to the “Youth Window” of Russia-UNDP Trust Fund for Development
On December 22 the Memorandum between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNDP regarding Russia’s 10 mln dollar contribution to the “Youth Window” of Russia-UNDP Trust Fund for Development was signed at UNDP headquarters. The contribution will be used to finance the projects of this Trust Fund created in 2015 dedicated to socio-economic development of young people.
This money will be distributed among projects during future sessions of the Steering Committee of the Trust Fund, consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance and UNDP.
The previous 10 mln. dollar contribution has been used to fund 9 projects in the area of youth employment, support for innovations and digital development in Armenia, Belarus, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Guinea, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Cuba.
