Statement by Deputy Permanent Representative Gennady Kuzmin at UN Security Council briefing "Report of the International Criminal Court on the situation in Libya"
Mm. President,
The 18th report of the International Criminal Court is abnormally scanty in terms of results and dynamic of the work of ICC on Libyan investigation. There is nothing to comment on.
I will only quote what ICC Prosecutor said in conclusion of her briefing today: “We will soon be reaching a decade since this Council referred the situation in Libya to my office. The people of Libya deserve peace and stability.”
