On 13 July 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin held a phone conversation with Secretary-General of the UN Commission on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) R.Grynspan upon the initiative of the UN side.
The sides continued a discussion of maintaining global food security, i.a. by means of ensuring unimpeded deliveries of agricultural products to global markets, first of all grain and fertilizers from Russia.
