Q: You mentioned in your speech that Russia has some concerns about what the US might be planning in terms of Syria, action they might take in Syria…
A: We have said it openly, that we have concerns with all this information that we are hearing today and seeing in newspapers, in the mass media. Those comments by US officials, meetings of the so-called “narrow format”. Something is cooking about Syria. And we are very much concerned that an alleged chemical use might be a pretext for something bigger and much more dangerous.
Q: Are your worried that the ceasefire that is not being implemented might trigger some action by the Americans?
A: You never know. Ask them.
