On the meeting between the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia and Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres
On July 28, 2017 H.E. Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations and Representative of the Russian Federation to the Security Council to H.E. Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
During the exchange of views that they had after the ceremony Russia’s Ambassador and the Secretary-General discussed current international issues and the Russian priorities at the United Nations.
The Permanent Representative stressed his intention to further deepen the cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Nations in order to strengthen the pivotal role of the United Nations in international affairs.
